How Can I Volunteer with NAMI?

NAMI Maryland provides support to people living with mental illnesses and their families throughout the state. We accomplish this through the generosity of volunteers who give their time. Volunteers are essential to the work that NAMI Maryland does. We need your help in the following areas:

  • Assist us in the office,
  • Do outreach in the community,
  • Work during our special events,
  • Contribute to our advocacy efforts

Please note that you must be 18 years old to volunteer in NAMI Maryland's office. Volunteers under 18 must provide an adult to accompany and supervise them at all times during their volunteer shift.

See more ways below.  Contact us now to volunteer!

PLEASE NOTE: NAMI Maryland is unable to offer any clinical internship experience since NAMI MD does not provide any clinical services.

Winter (Intersession) Deadline: November 15th

Spring Deadline: January 15th
